Skaramuca Plavac
Skaramuca family vineyards are located on the dramatic slopes of Dingac and Postup as well as in the valley on Peljesac Peninsula. This vibrant, extracted wine offers bright fruit, fresh cherries and plums on the nose. Great structure and personality! Full body, robust, yet youthful with inviting drinkability. Enjoy it with pasta with meat sauces, roasted and grilled red meats or aged parmeggiano.
Zlatan Otok Cuvee White
PRACTICING ORGANIC All four varieties in this wine are incredibly old indigenous Dalmatian grapes that date back to the 4th century BC. This indigenous blend is a unique expression of Dalmatian terroir and each grape brings its own character to the wine. This is one of the lighter white wines from Zlatan but it is distinctly Dalmatian - straw-golden color, with denseness and minerality that leaves a thick trail in the glass. Aged solely in stainless steel tanks, it is loaded with bright, full, aromas of dried flowers, melon and figs. A bit leaner and lighter than the famous Posip, this wine is a fresh and savory Adriatic trea
Zlatan Plavac - Otok Hvar
A premium red wine from Zlatan Plenković, one of Croatia’s best winemakers, that does not carry such an extra-ordinary premium price. The wine is dark ruby in color, with a rich and layered, pleasant, and deep aroma that has undertones of Dalmatian herbs, spices, minerality, saltiness, dark fruit, and a touch of barnyard and “funk.” The wine is warm and comforting on the nose, which is typical of Zlatan’s wines and has given them a specific identity and cult-following in Croatia and Europe. It is immensely structured and balanced, and possesses a refined, complex, and an exceptional presence on the palate that is followed by a long and persistent finish. Zlatan Plavac has long been linked as the traditional drinks of fishermen, peasants and farmers, as well as the exceptional wine connoisseur, with the very best “details” that a Croatian table has to offer during a special occasion.
