Vrbanjka Cru
100% Blaufränkisch. Single Vineyard CRU. Rated 93+ (Robert Parker Wine Advocate) Selected from the mid-slope of our Plešivica terroir, where the marly soil is the stoniest and the shallowest giving depth, complexity and elegance to the wine. A real “Cru” and a true expression of what the best terroirs of the Bela Krajina region can offer.
Vrbanjka is our flagship wine, selected from the mid-slope of our Plešivica terroir, where the marly soil is the stoniest and the shallowest giving depth, complexity and elegance to the wine. A real “Cru” and a true expression of what the best terroirs of the Bela Krajina region can offer. Spicy notes of white pepper and cinnamon infused by fruity aromas reminiscent of blueberry and blackberry, as well as underlying hints of dried herbs. The palate is medium plus, deep and fresh at the same time with a very long finish. Tannins are firm, but the wine is already enjoyable. Elegance, complexity, power, finesse and freshness in the glass. It is a wine built for long aging.
Belo 140 Belakrajina
Variety: 80% Kerner, 20% Riesling Origin: Bela Krajina, Slovenia Climate: Subpannonian continental with mediterranean influences Vineyard: Doma, Plešivica Soil: Clay and limestone
A unique white blend from Kerner and Riesling. A local and original interpretation of Burgundy like balanced wines from our vineyards: roundness and freshness are the guidelines. Wine is complex, on the nose there is the perception of minerality and salinity, supported by peachy and fresh apricot aromas combined with white flowers. On the palate the perception of salinity is accentuated, with velvety acidity and a long, vertical finish. Kerner brings roundness, generosity, and floral character. Riesling brings vibrancy, minerality, freshness and complexity
Ciao Belo
Origin: Bela Krajina, Slovenia Variety: 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Chardonnay Climate: Subpannonian continental with mediterranean influences Vineyard: Plešivica Alcohol: 13.5% vol The nose is dominated by the dried herbs of Sauvignon Blanc sitting on ripe yellow fruit brought by Chardonnay. The palate has some texture and refreshing bitter finish from the Sauvignon Blanc which is tempered by softness from the Chardonnay. A white blend showing quite some complexity. Grapes were hand harvested in 15 kg crates, fermented for 14 days on skins and thereafter wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tank before being aged in 4 to 5 years old barrique barrels and traditional big 2000l oval casks for a year. Wine is not filtered or fined. Both varieties are vinified separately and blended together about 6 months after harvest. Spontaneous fermentation and 6 months aging in used oak barrel on gross lees. After blending, the wine was kept 4 months in Inox tank before bottling. Soil: Clay, limestone
Kobal Blaufrankisch
Blaufränkisch is a special premium dark, ruby-colored wine with an aroma which resembles overripened blackberries, chocolate, black mulberries and dried plums. The harmony of fruity aromas is nicely rounded up with wood characteristics both in scent and in flavor, with a moderately long velvet finish. We recommend allowing the wine to decant for up to 45 minutes before consumption.
Lodoma
Variety: 100% Blaüfrankisch
Origin: Bela Krajina, Slovenia Climate: Subpannonian continental with mediterranean influences Vineyards: Lokvica, Trnovec, Plešivica Soil: Marl, limestone
A special selection made from restricted yields from our different terroirs. Elegant and vibrant, a superb expression of Blaufränkish from Bela Krajina.
Pikasi Barbera
This youthful unoaked barbera is showing lots of depth and expression. Rich aromas of cherry, raspberry and blackberry with white pepper and a touch of fennel lead to a slightly salty and bitter palate with plenty of weight and substance. This is a casual wine meant to be drunk young, but, given some time, it will likely develop and mature into a seriously complex wine in a year or two, even in screwcaps. Pair it with casual fare, bring it to a BBQ! It will go nicely with burgers, ribs, sausages, steak, kebabs and also pizza.
Pikasi Barbera Rose
This wine offers aromas of strawberry rhubarb pie, which lead to a creamy and slightly salty mouthfeel with a lingering finish. Perfect refreshment for a warm day, this wine will also pair nicely with young cheeses, charcuterie, salads, baked fish and roasted vegetables.
Pikasi Pinela
Pinela is a rare local variety from Vipava Valley, with only about 50 hectars cultivated currently. Pinela is a gentle grape offering elegant aromas of white peach, wild flowers and almonds. Pleasant creaminess and savory mouthwatering minerality linger on the palate. Fresh and fruity when served cold, but reveals more layers and complexity closer to room temperature. Try it with

Pikasi Rebula
Rebula is widely planted on the Slovenian side of the Brda-Collio region and in nearby Vipava Valley. The grape has thick skins and is known to make excellent skin contact wines. Pikasi rebula has no skin contact but still has a distinct structure and presence on the palate. Definitely a pallet driven wine that will compliment a variety of dishes. Serve it chilled but not too cold with lobster, shrimp, mussels prepared in a variety of ways, grilled white fish, prosciutto, roasted chicken or turkey, and grilled juicy pork chops.
